Dried citrus

Take your cocktails to the next level with a touch of natural elegance! Dried limes, lemon, or blood oranges are the perfect addition to your drink, adding both a burst of color and a zesty pop of flavor. This simple technique is a surefire way to impress your guests and make your drinks stand out.

Method

Preheat the oven to 100°C/212°F.

Slice the citrus fruit into thin rounds, about 3mm/0.1 inch thick. Don't worry about making them perfect.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place the citrus slices on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 1 hour, then take out the baking sheet from the oven and flip the slices.

Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 1-2 hours, or until the slices are completely dry.

Let the slices cool, then store them in an airtight container.
